The church has scheduled a certified safety instructor to come this day and provide 3 hours of training training on first aid, CPR and the use of an AED machine. This training is mandatory for all children's workers, youth workers and members of the Safety team. The church will cover the full cost of the training for all members and regular attenders of Alaska Baptist. Members from the community - who desire to be trained (or renew their CPR/AED certification) - may also be attending. As such, expecting a large group of people for this event. Every attendee will receive a Red Cross certificate confirming that they are CPR/AED trained/certified at the end of the class (2 year certification card). Coffee, water and snacks for intermission will be provided.
