CPR/AED Training Class

for church and  community members

An outside, certified CPR/AED trainer will be leading a training class from 9am - 12pm on Saturday, Sept. 27.


At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • List the major risk factors of heart disease and discuss prudent heart living
  • State the warning signs of a heart attack

  • Explain how to activate the EMS system

  • Demonstrate the following skills on a mannequin:

    1. recovery position

    2. rescue breathing

    3. one-rescuer CPR

    4. foreign-body airway obstruction mgmt for adult victims


Attendees will be American Heart Association CPR/AED certified (2 year card) at the conclusion of

the training.

Alaska Baptist Church Members/Regular Attenders:  Click on the first circle to let us know you will be attending.  Anyone who serves on the Safety Team, in Children's Ministries, in the Nursery, with the Youth or as a Deacon, the church WILL COVER THE $25 COST FOR YOUR TRAINING.  For all others from the church, please bring $25 cash to the training session on Saturday morning, September 27.
